YetiLive Studio Moves Workshops onto My Own Platform

Infrastructure milestone YetiLive Studio

YetiLive Studio moved live workshops, screen sharing and community sessions onto a self-hosted browser-based platform using a dedicated Hetzner server.

I wanted to run weekly workshops without depending entirely on conventional webinar software or requiring complicated broadcasting tools. YetiLive Studio grew from that idea into a self-hosted browser-based meeting and streaming environment.

The completed infrastructure used a Hetzner Cloud server with Nginx, PHP, MariaDB, Docker, Jitsi and Owncast. It supported browser meetings, screen sharing, chat and separate public workshop and private clinic sessions.

This was an important step beyond shared-hosting SaaS applications. It required server configuration, domains, SSL, authentication, staging environments and testing the complete live experience. ChatGPT helped guide both the infrastructure work and the custom portal, while I tested each part in the real environment where the workshops would run.
