How ChatGPT Changed My Product-Building Journey
ChatGPT helped me move from collecting software ideas to developing real products, while I continued to provide the ideas, audience knowledge, testing and final product decisions.
My journey with ChatGPT has not simply been about asking AI to create content. It has changed the way I turn online-marketing experience and product ideas into real software.
I normally begin with a problem I have encountered myself or something I believe would save marketers time, effort or expense. I explain the intended customer and the result the product should deliver. ChatGPT then helps me examine the idea, organise the features, create PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and Bootstrap code, troubleshoot installation problems and prepare supporting marketing assets.
The process is rarely one prompt followed by a finished product. I install each application, test it in real hosting environments, report what works and what does not, and improve it through updates and patches. ChatGPT has become an important development partner, but the product direction, testing and decisions remain mine. The result is a growing portfolio of practical SaaS products that began as conversations and became working software.
