From Promoting Products to Creating My Own Software
My focus began shifting from mainly affiliate marketing towards creating practical software products of my own, built around problems I had experienced as an online marketer.
Affiliate marketing gave me years of experience in understanding offers, traffic, email follow-up and the everyday frustrations faced by online marketers. The turning point came when I realised that many of those repeated problems could become useful software products.
Instead of only promoting tools created by other people, I started using ChatGPT as a practical development partner. I supplied the ideas, the audience knowledge and the decisions about what the product should achieve. ChatGPT helped me organise features, write and revise code, troubleshoot errors and turn rough concepts into working PHP and MySQL applications.
This was the beginning of a new direction: creating a portfolio of SaaS products designed to save users time, effort and expense.
