A simpler SaaSYeti website — and an Autumn Deal for YetiMembers
I redesigned SaaSYeti.com to be easier to understand and maintain, removed obsolete WordPress material from its hosting, and brought the YetiMembers Autumn Deal into the spotlight.
One of the biggest practical frustrations with my original site was how much work it took to keep everything up to date. Even developer snapshots were much larger than they needed to be because of retired WordPress files and old archives.
I decided to keep SaaSYeti.com on StackCP rather than move it to PROD-1. The PHP/MySQL site now has a cleaner homepage, simpler navigation and a software directory. After removing old unused files, my development snapshot shrank dramatically, making future improvements far easier to share and patch.
I also wanted the website to reflect what matters most today: useful SaaS software and hands-on help through YetiMembers. Its October Autumn Deal highlights access to software, training and weekly live sessions.
There is more to do, particularly connecting the catalogue automatically to the PROD-1 app registry. But the website is becoming a stable home for the business rather than another application that needs changing every week.
What I learned: sometimes the best new feature is making a complicated system simpler.
